The round dough scraper is in our view the most important bread baker's tool - we use it to mix and scrape off any dough bits from your bowls, to loosen from the bowl and turn onto a surface, as well as dividing and moving dough around. Ever heard of a fougasse? If you have a scraper it's very easy to make and absolutely beautiful!
This scraper is 130mm wide and 90mm tall.
Since I started baking mid 2020 I've used homemade scrapers I made from flexible clear tablemats. These scrapers are SO much better because the dough doesn't stick to them and they are easy to hold. I'd prefer it if they were a little more flexible though to thoroughly scape a round bowl. And maybe one top edge should be squared off like the ones on Bake with Jack.
The price is VERY reasonable. All in all I am happy.
This scraper is a pleasure to use, it does what it was supposed to do.
Nice shape and good in the hand, but too hard to scrape cleanly out of shaped containers.
Really good piece of equipment easy to clean fits in the hand and really useful to clean out pots
Loving my dough scraper so much I might order a second!
