We use these flour shakers constantly while baking - they're very effective in coating your work surface or proving baskets with a thin layer of flour to prevent the dough from sticking. They're also nice and compact for easy storage.
Don't overfill them - we find if you fill them about a third they give the most even distribution of flour when shaken - and we prever small shakes rather than using the built-in mechanism as this produces a more even coating.
Very handy tool
A quality sieve with a super-fine gauze which is great for icing sugar and all types of flour, easy to clean however you need to be a little cautious as the flour comes out without pressing the sieve handle but in tiny tiny amounts. Recommend this product very happy with my purchase
