Dip it in water before cutting when working with set/soft doughs.

Very sharp straight blade. Possible to make precise incisions. This is a good buy.
Lame is super sharp,light and easy to use!
Was just a surprise that it comes with only the blade. Without the handle it is not always practical and safe.
